We invite you to join our network of 400-plus members comprised of public relations administrators, media specialists, government relations directors, and communications professionals.
With the strength of our affiliate chapters throughout the country, NBPRS strives to nurture, enlighten and inform its membership about new technologies and techniques. Our goal is to empower our entrepreneurs and practitioners to network and succeed.

“Diverse Voices: Profiles in Leadership” will help educators, students and practioners of Public Relations better understand the challenges faced by minorities in the field.
Published in partnership with the Museum of Public Relations, Diverse Voices features interviews with more than 40 multicultural corporate and PR agency leaders. These executives, who have risen to the very top of this dynamic and vital field, share candid anecdotes detailing the successes they have had, the obstacles they have had to overcome and the lessons they have learned along the way. The book also has tips and lessons for those entering the field.
The book will be a valuable resource not only for students and educators but for managers of all levels, in agencies, corporate communications departments and organizations.

Working Remotely? Tools You Can Use
We are living in extradinary times. On behalf of NBPRS, we want you to be safe and healthy. Now, you’ll living in a new normal. You’re having to work out of your apartment or home. Here’s a basic list of tools that may help you telecommute.
Here are some basic survival tips:
- Be flexible: What you normally used to do or what you expect to happen, may not. Roll with the punches.
- Be creative: You’re going to have create innovative ways to find solutions for your clients, engage and motivate your workers.
- Find time for yourself: Working at home is convenient, but it’s also deceptive. You tend to work more than you think. Take breaks. Shut it down at a certain point every day.

TheNational Black Public Relations Society, Inc. (NBPRS) has partnered with CommunicationsMatch, a PR and communications agency and freelancer search and engagement platform. NBPRS members will join a network of more than 5,000 agencies and professional profiles listed on its matching search engine.
